Krysta Larsen
Doctor of Chinese Medicine
Registered Acupuncturist + Herbalist
Krysta was born + raised in the East Kootenay's where she developed a love for the outdoors and a natural way of living. After graduating, she moved to Victoria, BC where she studied for four years. During this time, she became fascinated by the connection between mental health + nutrition and how the foods that we eat strongly affect how we think and feel. This led her to pursue further education in holistic nutrition in Halifax, NS. It was during this time that she learned about Chinese Medicine, and how beyond its ability to treat pain, there is a framework for understanding how imbalances in our physical bodies influence our mental health and emotions and vice versa! Through this medical philosophy, nothing can be separated, as our bodies are an integrated whole.
This is when she decided to move back to the Kootenay's and enrolled in the 5 year Doctor of Chinese Medicine program in Nelson, BC. During this time she spent some time in China studying in a variety of hospitals and health clinics.

Krysta's well rounded approach to healing includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, tui na, gua sha, cupping, and diet therapy. She has experience in treating many ailments including back pain, sciatica, stiff neck, frozen shoulder, menstrual irregularities, infertility, and digestive issues

Monica Dragosz
Wild Sense Psychology
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Women and people with nervous system sensitivity (Highly Sensitive Person or HSP) face unique issues and stressors in modern life. Many women and people with high sensitivity (HSP's) have specific needs in order to be able to recover from trauma, attachment issues, depression, anxiety, grief, & loss, and burnout. I work with mothers, healthcare professionals & healers, artists & creatives, change agents & activists, as well as those struggling with chronic illness or complex health conditions (including menopause). My work helps them navigate their lives in ways that support both their sensitivities and their strengths.
By using somatic, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based therapies, I help people bring balance to their overstressed nervous systems, and guide them as to how to roll with their emotions and so they can actually use them as information. We go beyond "talk therapy" to get to the roots of problems, so that changes in how you think and feel will last. I know that life can really be too much sometimes and so many people are in survival mode. If you've reached a point where you realize you may not be able to do this alone, I hope you'll reach out. I am hopeful that if we are the right fit, we can start turning things around for you. You deserve to feel as if you are truly living.
